Djembe King Prawns
300g king prawns (defrosted, cooked and peeled)
100g sliced onion
10g garlic paste
5g ginger paste
3 tablespoons of Djembe Hot Sauce
Pinch of ground cayenne pepper
Pinch of salt
Juice of half a lemon
2 tablespoons olive oil
Place the king prawns in a suitable container or bowl and mix together with the garlic paste, ginger paste, Djembe Hot Sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Leave to stand for at least 2 hours or for even more flavour, leave overnight in the fridge.
Heat the olive oil in a wok.
Add the marinated prawns and cook for 5 minutes on the hob, stirring occasionally.
Add the onions, cover and cook on a low heat for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish the prawns with finely chopped chives and sesame seeds. Serve with fries and a side salad.
