Djembe Chicken Wings served with banana plantains and Salsa salad:


Serves 4 people

700g Fresh chicken drumsticks
1 fresh lemon
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of Oregano
1 tsp of paprika
2 tsp of self-raisin flour
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp of basil
1 tsp of onion granules
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp of Djembe sauce

Salsa Salad

2 fresh tomatoes
½ red onion
1 clove of garlic
1tsp of olive oil
1tsp of lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1 tsp of Djembe sauce


1) Chop the garlic and onion into small pieces
2) Wash the chicken drumsticks and place in a freezer bag
3) Add all the above ingredients and shake until the chicken is completely blended with the seasoning.
4) Place the marinated chicken on a baking tray and grill at 250 degrees to cook for 30mns.

Banana plantains:

Remove skin, cut in small pieces and shallow fry (takes approx 10mns).

Salsa salad:

Chop and mix fresh tomatoes, half onion, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil and Djembe sauce.
