Chicken Wings with Plantain, Rice & Vegetable

Ingredients

Serves 5 people

To marinade the chicken

500g Fresh chicken drumsticks
1 fresh lemon
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of Oregano
1 tsp of paprika
2 tsp of self-raisin flour
1tsp black pepper
1tsp of basil
1tsp of onion granules
1tbsp olive oil
2tbsp of Djembe sauce

Rice & vegetable
300g easy cook rice
½ red onion,
1 clove of garlic,
1tsp of olive oil,
1tsp of lemon juice,
Pinch of salt
200g mixed veg
1 tsp of Fula Flavour Hot sauce.

Method
  • Chop the garlic and onion into small pieces
  • Wash the chicken drumsticks and place in a freezer bag
  • Add all the above ingredients and shake until the chicken is completely blended with the seasoning.
  • Place the marinated chicken on a baking tray and place in the oven at 250 degrees to cook for 30mns.

Banana plantains
Remove skin, cut in small pieces and shallow fry (takes approx 10mns).

Rice and veg
Shallow fry the fresh tomatoes, half onion, garlic, lemon juice in olive oil
Once brown ish and water and washed rice
Add 2 spoons of Fula Flavour Hot or Lemon and Herb sauce.

Chicken & Peppers Dish

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

500g Chicken breast
200g sweet peppers
200g baby tomatoes
1 fresh lemon
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of paprika
1tsp black pepper
1tsp of onion granules
1tbsp olive oil
3tbsp of Fula Flavour Hot

Method
  • Chop the garlic and onion into small pieces
  • Place the chicken in a freezer bag
  • Add all the above ingredients and shake until the completely blended.
  • Place the olive on a frying pan and add the marinated chicken on a frying, cook for 15mns.

Serve with salad, or on a Jacket potato or as a wrap

King Prawn & Vegetable

Ingredients

Serves 2 people

500g king prawns
200g green beans
1/2 fresh lemon
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of paprika
1 level tsp black pepper
1 white onion
1tbsp olive oil
Pinch of salt
3tbsp of Fula Flavour Hot Chilli Sauce
Sesame seeds and chives to garnish

Method
  • Finely chop the garlic and onion. Fry in the olive oil for 2 mins
  • Place the prawns in a freezer bag
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and shake until blended
  • Add the prawns to the onion and garlic. Cook for 5 mins
  • Add the green beans and cook for a further 5 mins
  • To serve use sesame seeds and chives to garnish

Chickpea, Beef & Coconut Curry

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

500g diced beef
200g baby chickpeas
1 can of coconut milk
6 cloves of garlic
½ onion diced
1 tsp of paprika
1tsp black pepper
1tsp of onion granules
1tbsp olive oil
Pinch of salt
5tbsp of Fula Flavour Hot to marinade
500g microwavable white basmati rice

Method
  • Grate the garlic and chop the onion into small pieces
  • Place the beef in a freezer bag
  • Add grated garlic, onion granules, black pepper, Fula Flavour hot sauce, paprika and salt, shake until blended.
  • Shallow fry the marinated beef in olive oil for 15mns or until brown
  • Add coconut oil and chickpeas, cook for 10mns or until thick
  • Microwave the rice until soft and serve.
